The Marmalade Foundation, which operates and supports Lou’s Place, is the engine room behind the service.
Our Foundation members are dedicated volunteers who go the extra mile – showing up at community events, supporting fundraising, raising awareness and championing everything Lou’s Place stands for.
Being part of The Marmalade Foundation means being part of something that genuinely matters. Our members help build the vital network of supporters, connections and resources that links Lou’s Place with the wider community. There is nothing quite like seeing the difference this support can make.
Our Board
Lou’s Place is governed by the Board of The Marmalade Foundation. Board members are also members of the Foundation and are appointed from within and outside the Lou’s Place community based on the experience, expertise and perspectives they can bring.
Together, our Board and Foundation members are woven into the fabric of Lou’s Place, helping to protect its purpose and values, support its ongoing growth, and ensure it continues responding to the needs of women in our community.
