Amanda Greaney CEO

Amanda (Mandy) started at Lou’s Place in March 2022. Mandy comes to Lou’s with over 20 years leadership experience across a variety of community services and is passionate about social justice and ensuring that the most vulnerable within our community are supported to access their rights. She is highly experienced in multi service outlet management and has had extensive experience across many different programs including disabilities, homelessness, domestic and family violence, youth, child protection early intervention services and gambling.

Mandy relish’s the challenge of delivering high quality services to societies most outcast and ostracised. Mandy is very enthusiastic and always demonstrates empathy and a non-judgmental attitude to the people she works to support.

Mandy is acknowledged for being a very supportive and knowledgeable leader who is always willing to listen and support staff to solve any problems within their work so that they may support clients in the same way.

Genavieve Sakr, Project Manager

Genavieve started at Lou's Place as the Always Mum Case Manager and Project Officer in June 2021 and transitioned into her role as Programs Manager in March 2022, overseeing three distinct programs at Lou's Place. Genavieve brings over seven years of hands-on experience working in the community services sector in areas such as therapeutic case management, group facilitation, allied health care coordination & program development, specialising in supporting women with multiple complex needs. 

Passionate about leveraging her insights into the socio-political climate and its impact on the women she supports, Genavieve is dedicated to education, advocacy, and the creation of a therapeutic environment that fosters healing and growth.

Genavieve utilises a trauma-informed, person-centred and strengths-based approach to her work, with non-judgement and authenticity at the forefront. Building on this foundation, she employs creative and hands-on problem-solving techniques, guided by her steadfast commitment to being led by women as the true experts of their own lives.

Hannah Kelly Client Services + Administration Manager

Hannah started at Lou's Place as an Intake and Admin Support Officer in September 2022, and transitioned into her role as Client Services and Administration Manager in November 2023. She completed her Diploma of Community Services at TAFE in February 2022.

Hannah has over 10 years' experience in client facing roles, having previously worked as a Youth Mentor, Retail Assistant, and Marketing and Admin Assistant.

Hannah prides herself on her friendly and welcoming nature and operates through a trauma-informed mindset. She is passionate about meeting every woman at their point of need, and promoting autonomy and dignity through acceptance and respect.

Jenni Egan Client Services + Administration Officer

Jenni started at Lou’s Place in December 2023 as a Client Services and Administration Officer. She holds a Diploma of Community Services which she completed in 2022.

Prior to working at Lou’s Place, Jenni worked in an administrative role within the corporate sector for over 20 years. After personal circumstances, Jenni decided to make the move into the community services sector to make a difference in the community.

Jenni enjoys being the first point of contact at Lou’s Place, fostering meaningful connections with the women. She uses her compassion and empathy to provide steadfast support to individuals facing challenges, offering an understanding ear and engaging in heartfelt conversations to offer comfort.

Siena Vaughan Case Manager

Siena is a warm, down-to-earth presence at Lou’s Place, known for her bubbly energy and genuine care. With a background in mental health and a Bachelor of Social Work, she was drawn to Lou’s through her passion for supporting women’s wellbeing, joining our team in early 2024.

Siena’s approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and connection. She offers a safe, non-judgmental space where each woman feels seen, heard, and supported. Guided by the belief that women are the experts of their own lives, she tailors her support to honour each person’s individual journey.

With a strong trauma-informed foundation, Siena brings compassion, respect, and a steady presence to every interaction. She is deeply committed to walking alongside women as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their sense of self, always with kindness and a firm belief in their worth.

Katie Little Always Mum Manager

Katie brings a strong foundation in social work and criminology, with experience supporting women, young people, and families across Ireland and Australia.

She began her career with TUSLA, Ireland’s Child and Family Agency, working with young people in out-of-home care to build independence, safety, and wellbeing as they transitioned into adulthood. Since moving to Australia, Katie has worked across domestic and family violence support, tenancy case management, and aged care.

Katie is deeply aligned with the values of Lou's Place and the Always Mum program, particularly its non-judgemental, low-barrier approach and focus on creating opportunities for women to rebuild their lives.

She is passionate about walking alongside women, listening to their stories, and supporting them to feel heard, respected, and empowered on their individual journeys.

Renee McElroy Case Manager

Renee joined Lou’s Place bringing over a decade of diverse experience across the sector with a focus on child and family support, AOD and crisis intervention. Her career is deeply grounded in working alongside Aboriginal communities, where she has consistently championed culturally safe, strengths-based, and self-determined outcomes.

Holding four diplomas - in Aboriginal Community Development, Counselling, Case Management, and AOD - Renee brings both professional expertise and lived commitment to her role. Driven by a deep passion for supporting women through life’s most challenging and complex circumstances, she is steadfast in challenging systemic inequities and ensuring fair, accessible, and respectful service delivery - especially for those whose voices are too often overlooked.

Claire Cassey Fundraising + Marketing Manager

Claire brings a unique combination of professional expertise and lived experience to her work at Lou's Place.

With a background in communications, partnerships, fundraising and marketing she is passionate about driving meaningful change for women experiencing crisis and disadvantage.

Having experienced domestic and family violence, homelessness, and mental health challenges herself, Claire brings a deep understanding, empathy, and authenticity to her work. She is dedicated to driving the funding and partnerships that make it possible for women to access vital, non-judgemental support when they need it most.

Her approach is grounded in advocacy, connection, and creating opportunities for women to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Shauna Travers Programs Manager

Shauna joined Lou's Place in December 2024 as a Client Services Officer, and her skills were quickly recognised as she progressed into roles as a Drop-in Case Manager and now Senior Case Manager.

With a strong focus on homelessness and a background in child protection, Shauna brings both experience and compassion to her work. She builds trust with ease and is deeply valued by the women of Lou’s for her warmth, consistency, and genuine care

Lizzie Hancock Stability First Case Manager

Lizzie is a Psychology graduate committed to building a meaningful career in mental health and supporting women experiencing complex challenges.

She brings experience working with individuals and groups facing acute mental health concerns, using a trauma-informed and compassionate approach.

Lizzie is driven by a belief that supporting individual wellbeing is key to creating broader, lasting change across communities.
